Privacy Policy
Duetday is designed to keep your relationship reflections private and on your phone.
What Duetday stores
Duetday can save the names you enter, relationship goals, answers, replies, mood check-ins, completed activities and guided-series progress. This information is stored locally on your device.
What we collect
The current version does not create an account, upload your answers, operate an advertising profile or track you across apps and websites. We do not receive your locally stored relationship content.
Subscriptions and app stores
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store or by Google through Google Play. Duetday reads the store purchase status on your device so it can unlock an active Duetday Plus subscription. Apple or Google controls billing and may process information under its own privacy policy. Google Play Billing may process limited app interactions and app or device diagnostics for purchase functionality, service reliability, analytics, security and fraud prevention. Duetday does not use that information to build an advertising profile.
Retention and deletion
Local data remains on the device until you delete it in Duetday, remove the app or erase the device. Use Privacy & Local Data inside Duetday to delete names, answers, replies and progress. Deleting local data does not cancel an app-store subscription.
Security and device backups
Duetday relies on your phone's operating-system protections. Android backup is disabled for Duetday. On Apple devices, your own device and backup settings may allow Apple to include app data in an encrypted device backup. Protect your phone with a passcode and do not share it with someone who should not see your answers.
Children
Duetday is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed to children or minors. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information.
Changes to this policy
If Duetday later adds accounts, cross-device sync, analytics or other data processing, this policy and the relevant app-store privacy disclosures will be updated before those features are released.
